- Dance
At Prati-Nrithya Club, we aim to foster in students a deep sense of appreciation for India’s cultural heritage by teaching them the traditional dance forms of India.Learning dance is a profound experience that instils discipline and self-expression in students and further enhances cognitive abilities such as memory, attention, and improved cognitive function.
1. Bharatanatyam
Aspiring dancers are taught the basic ‘Adavus’ and ‘Mudras’ which builds a strong foundation with a process that demands physical fitness and mental focus.

At Prati-Dhwani, our music club, students learn to enhance their musical abilities (vocal & instrumental), technical skills, to appreciate and to understand music in general.
1. Carnatic Vocal
Students learn about the basics of pitch, rhythm and tone control.
Students are taught the basics, typing techniques, numeric pad etc of the keyboard. They also learn about its maintenance.
The syllabus includes music theory, techniques, scales (beginner, intermediate, advanced), specific pieces, exercises and reading flute music.
The syllabus includes bowing techniques, left hand technique, intonation and posture. Students also learn about music theory which includes reading sheet, understanding key signatures and basic music terminology. We help students develop the ability to recognise and reproduce musical patterns by ear.
Students learn about tuning, musical symbols, various strings and key signature tunes about guitar.
Students learn about the basics of rhythmic cycles (Tala), strokes, rhythmic patterns & compositions of increasing complexity. We shall ensure students develop the ability to accompany vocalists and other instrumentalists and adapt to various musical contexts.
